The Institute for Better Education (IBE) is a recognized 501 (c) (3) non-profit School Tuition Organization, or STO, that exists to award scholarships and educational grants to children who desire a private school education. Funding for scholarships and grants come from voluntary donations from Arizona state tax payers.

IBE was the second STO to enter into existence back in 1998 when the private school tax credit program first began. Our first year, we worked with 10 schools, made $24,570 and were able to award scholarships to 24 students. In 2010 we worked with 125 schools, made over $5 million and were able to award scholarships to over 2,800 students.
